| De Condotta consists of current and former members of the Markland Medieval Mercenary Militia. Our interests and activities include historical research, living history, battle recreation, as well as the less-historical activities of feasting and mock combat. |
| The single underlying theme to all of our activities is having fun. If we don't enjoy ourselves then the all the hard work that goes into preparing for events is wasted. Having a sense of humor is imperative. Those that take themselves or their subject matter too seriously will find themselves unwelcome in our group. Likewise, those that are entirely frivolous are equally unwelcome. |
| So just what does de Condotta do? within Markland we are active in both frat and rec. Many members are also involved in the Men of Warwick living history camp. Due to our proximity to the University of Maryland we take it upon ourselves to assist the Maryland campus chapter of Markland. |
